Back in September i posted the first part of this vintage lot

from eBay .. Last time i scanned some of the 1979 Topps 

cards. They're still for trade/sale.

This time i'll show you the 

1980's cards of the lot.

I remember i already checked it in Beckett

but it looks like i lost the list.

So i'll start over again to determine the value ^^ 

Remember the lot was 16$ and i already got around 50$ only

on the 1979 cards.

Let's dive in  .. the best card from the lot and the second best

from the whole set.

Nolan Ryan (American League All Star) 20$BV

and    Carl Yastrzemski 2.50$BV (i have 2 of them ... 1 for sale/trade)

Carlton Fisk 2.50$BV (double .. FT/FS)     and     Dale Murphy 2.50$BV

Don Sutton 1$BV   and   George Brett 8$BV

Dave Stieb RC 2$BV

(the only notable Rookie Card besides the Rickey Henderson)

A value of 44$ only in those few cards .. and i have 87 commons with

a little worth also.

What's up fellas, i recently bought a Vintage baseballcard lot from the german eBay.

It said , 60s 70s and 80s cards.

First of all , there wasn't a single 60s cards in it. But i don't really care, cause for

about 16$ i got some really cool cards.

I have the complete 1979 Topps set in a binder, so every card 

of this set i'm showing you here is for trade or for sale.

Just ask for it ... 

I think 50% of the cards are from the 1979 Topps set! 

I'm going to show you the highlights ...

Joe Morgan (AS) 2.50$BV and Paul Molitor 10$BV

Dale Murphy 3.50$BV and Willie Stargell 2.50$BV

A nice Tom Hume with perfect centering, i think 

i should send it in for grading! BGS 9 ??

 (i love the old Brewers colors)

Andre Dawson  3$BV and agaaain Bump Wills Error 3$BV

i really don't know why the ERR has a higher BV than 

the corrected version. I have this one 4 times now.

I'm looking for the corrected , if you have it please tell me.

47$ total .. not bad so far ^^

Let's start with the not so cool cards :D

1999  Topps Chrome - Nomar Garciaparra (LD10) Die Cut

(...so the first card is a 90s card and looks like a 90s card
it's just too much :D .. it's FT.
90s bring us to the next card ...)

1996 Upper Deck SPX - Barry Bonds (Bound for Glory) 

Die Cut Holo picture refractor ... or something! 

(the card is very shinyyy and flashyyy but for me, 

it's too much again. But the reason is the design of the 90s ... i don't want 

to compare these cards to the die cuts they put in todays packs like

the 2013 Cut to the chase ... they are awesome! FT)

(cool card with a good grade PC)

1961 Topps - Lee Walls

(cool card, doesn't matter for me that the centering or 

the surface sucks. My oldest card now PC)

2011 Topps Lineage - David DeJesus 1952 Auto

(Really great card. I love the 1952 design. It's a sticker

but most of Topps autos are stickers, even the high end products like Tribute) 

And the best card in my opinion ..

2011 Topps Tripple Threads - Andre Ethier Relic - 16/36

(Awesome jersey number card, just great.
PC of course)

2012 National Convention Cards

2012 National Cards

Lot - ~20$

I just bought a little lot from a guy in my local sports cards forum.

It included cards from the 2012 National Sports Collectors Convention in Baltimore, you

received as a VIP ticket holder. I thought they are very cool and unique (and cause of one Ichiro^^)

Of course i scanned the cards ... Let's take a look :

First there are 2 Leaf Promo cards (not #ed)

Leaf Dylan Bundy - VIP-5

... a minor league pitcher from the Baltimore Orioles 

Organisation.

Leaf Ichiro - VIP-4

.... uhh nice!

Now we've got 4 cards of a really nice 5 card set.

So one card is missing but i'll try to get it.

1952 Topps Retro Design Set (Oversized)

Babe Ruth of Baltimore

Babe Ruth - Back

i think they are really cool and there is no other Babe Ruth card

in the 1952 Topps design.

Jackie Robinson and Willie Mays

1 of the 2 different Mickey Mantle cards 

... second is in Yankees uniform.

Reprints of the 1910 E98 Set ( original cards of this set

were found in MINT condition by a guy in Ohio back in

 Spring 2012, known as the "Black Swamp find")

They are numbered to 1500 copys.

1979 Topps - Complete Set

1979 Topps Complete Set of 726 Cards

A little Vintage was in the air on eBay germany ...

I saw it first with 3 days remaining with a price of

45$ and decided to bid in last second .

So 3 days later it was on 51$. My bid in the last second was 62$

... and i got it for the very nice price of 55$  ^^ just great.

I think in that condition the set is at least worth 150$.

The best card first

Ozzie Smith - Rookie Card

... well the centering sucks but the card is in 

a perfect condition. This single card could go for 50$ on eBay i think .. (BV60$)

Eddie Murray

Good centering but a little damaged on the upper edge and

lower left corner ... But i don't like this guy anyways.

George Brett - American League All Star and Paul Molitor (Centering -.-)

Pete Rose National League All Star

and yippiee ...

Nolan Ryan with the Angels 

good centering AND good condition :)

That was IT!! 

But i have a little promblem ... i got the following a moth ago from

my girlfriend ..she bought it on eBay for me :

an unopened Cello Pack of 1979 Topps Baseball ^^ 

So the question is: Should i rip it and replace better cards and

maybe sell the doubles on eBay or should i just keep it?

Chris Olds says the following:
